"The property is tucked in a great location next to the Kern river. Our accommodations were very cozy and clean . We were celebrating our 42nd anniversary and our hosts brought us a bottle of champagne. Overall, our experience was wonderful and we would stay here again and highly recommend Whispering Pines."

"Hidden gem. I've been to kernville and stayed many times and have never stayed here. I'm glad I took a chance on the place. Great views and friendly staff. Love the rooms and patios with views. We were greeted by deer in the front which was exciting. Sad to leave this place. We will definitely be coming back here."

"Great place to enjoy nature, right by the river you can hear the sounds of the water flowing through. I sat out on the patio to take it all in. Beautiful clean place, highly recommended. The bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed the fireplace on a rainy day. I would have loved to stay longer!"
